Mau y Ricky were blessed with the golden touch when it comes to songwriting. The Venezuelan brothers have seen their alchemy power hits for Maluma, Thalía and Ricky Martin, among others. But when it came to their own numbers, they were more like the Tin Man. All that changed, however, with 2017’s “Mi Mala” featuring Karol G. Once the pair scored that breakout, the hits kept coming. “Desconocidos” is proof. Mau y Ricky tackled a stripped-down version of the sexy come-on, as well as "Sin Pijama" for Vevo during a live performance taped at the 2018 Latin Grammy awards, where they were up for Best New Artist and Song of the Year.
