The full 20/20 on Investigation Discovery documentary covering the murder of 17-year-old Jordan Davis — shot and killed over loud music at a Jacksonville gas station by Michael Dunn on November 23, 2012.
Dunn fired 10 rounds into an SUV full of teenagers after an argument over rap music, then drove back to his hotel, ordered pizza, and went to sleep. He claimed self-defense, saying the teens had a shotgun — but no weapon was ever found. His own fiancée, Ronda Rower, destroyed his defense on the witness stand when she testified Dunn never told her about any gun.
This documentary features the detective interrogation of Michael Dunn, testimony from Jordan's parents Ron Davis and Lucia McBath, witness accounts, courtroom footage from both trials, and Dunn's disturbing racist jail letters. After a hung jury on the murder charge in the first trial, Dunn was convicted of first-degree murder in the retrial and sentenced to life without parole plus 90 years.
